My trusty Prankster. Being ‘unbreakable’ this is my plane of choice for bad flying weather or teaching novice pilots. For this reason it is imperative an LMF is fitted. I have cut a circular hole in the side of the fuselage to mount the LMF. Care must be taken to ensure fuel cannot enter the sounder. This LMF is now in it’s third year of abuse without showing any signs of complaint. |

The LMF also works perfectly well mounted inside the fuselage as the following photos demonstrate. Sound is somewhat reduced but still clearly audible.
Mounting near push rod exits, ventilation holes or in open cockpits give good results.
